Crossborder Education Solutions (CBES)
CBES is a non-profit organization that partners with higher education institutions (HEI) offering e-learning accredited degree courses to learners across national borders. We do so by among others, creating infrastructures that support e-learning so that HEI can provide their courses to a larger student body.
We target developing countries due to the challenges some of them face when it comes to ICT and internet connectivity. We also target these countries hoping that upon completion of studies, the graduates would be able to effectively contribute to the development of their own communities. In addition to computers and the internet, our services to students and HEI include marketing the programs, recruitment of students, a student-friendly learning environment, learning consultancy, performance management, guidance and consultation. While CBES targets secondary school graduates primarily, e-learning attracts a wide group of people (e.g. adults that cannot attend normal classes due to social and other strains, or employees that wish to better their career opportunities).
